Pooling ample resources to counsel and train a diverse client base
International development organisations and local government organisations can utilize PREMAnet’s long established expertise to substantially enhance their programme performance and funding prospects. The Association provides professional tools to assist in establishing cleaner production, environmental protection, SME support and industrial modernization systems. Several business development programmes apply PREMA® as a tool for professional capacity building in local businesses.
Professional associations that support and serve national and regional industry and service sectors can also tap PREMAnet’s extensive resources. Those sector-specific associations serve a wide range of industries such as:
- Printing
- Food
- Textiles
- Services
- Tourism
Such organisations find a natural partner in PREMAnet for enhancing productivity through the improved environmental and social performance of their member-SMEs .
Different PREMA® modules can be combined to suit the specific needs and goals of each client. PREMAnet can also offer training of trainers (ToT) to local experts and consultants interested in becoming PREMA trainers. This creates local know-how, long-term availability of local trainers and support for programmes and companies.
PREMAnet’s seven local networks have been established so they can manage their own trainer teams and PREMA® programmes and closely cooperate with the Board. This ensures high quality training that combines with local expertise in the local language.
